Although we don’t necessarily have to face the same dangers and threats as our ancestors, our brains are still more likely to focus on negative experiences, emotions, or thoughts rather than positive ones.

Once you have identified your negative thought patterns, you can be prepared for when they set in and try to hold you back from achieving your dream life. It will take some time for you to work through your negative thoughts, but the most effective way to counter them is through action. Instead of letting self-doubt or limiting beliefs paralyze you, push forward despite them. Work with your mind by saying “I acknowledge that I am experiencing self doubt right now, that doesn’t mean I can’t do this. I am going to do it anyway.”
