How Emotional Liberation Gave A Mother of Three Her Life Back

We recently interviewed Claire, an author and mother of 3 who met with an energy healer after years of traditional therapy, and had her life changed forever.

Claire’s Story

At the age of 26, Claire went through a difficult family and romantic break up that caused her immense emotional distress. Seeking therapy, Claire underwent psychoanalysis and then began turning to supportive psychotherapy when she felt the need for extra support.

After a few years, Claire came to a point where she felt she had no strength left and the supportive psychotherapy was no longer helping.

At this point, Claire’s youngest child couldn’t sleep through the night, her husband was often away on business trips, and she had three kids to raise while dealing with her emotional trauma. Claire was experiencing more than just extreme fatigue, she felt as if she had some large subconscious knots resurfacing from her past and strengthening her emotional distress.

It was becoming harder and harder for Claire to make it through her everyday life, she began losing weight, and she was fearful about falling into a depression. Claire knew she needed help, but she did not want to go back to traditional therapy and have to tell her life story all over again to a new therapist and start from scratch.

This is why when Claire’s friend Martha suggested that Claire see a different kind of therapist, a healer experienced in emotional liberation, Claire was intrigued.

Claire went to her first session with the healer that Martha referred her to, and immediately broke into tears. Although she was uncomfortable in such an unknown environment, Claire decided to let go and confide in this healer. She chose to trust the process. Claire told the healer about her lack of joy and energy, her precariousness, and all these knots that feel like they are preventing her from breathing.

As Claire sat face to face with the healer, he asked her to look deep into his eyes. Claire admitted that this seemed like an odd request to her, but she concentrated on his eyes. The two of them sat in silence, looking into each other’s eyes for what felt like an eternity to Claire, until the healer finally began to speak.

“That’s it. I see it! It’s okay, he’s there, he’s a man. Oh, he’s a grump. He’s lost. Don’t worry, I’ll make him go away, it’s okay. Come on, let’s leave. There he goes. Perfect! He’s gone!”

Claire felt both stunned and serene, she was experiencing a feeling she had never felt before.

The healer proceeded to say to Claire, “well, you could have continued thirty years of therapy with what I just made go away.” She still had no idea what he was talking about or what he made “go away.”

At this point of the session everything was still unclear to Claire, but at the same time she felt completely relaxed and happy to continue letting it happen. Whatever was happening was clearly working.

Claire noted that something she liked about this type of therapy was that she didn’t have to be so proactive and rational, answering all kinds of questions, she could just let go.

In the second phase of the session, the healer played the piano to “connect to the ancestors, mending bonds and finding forgiveness.”

When the session came to a close, Claire left feeling the type of good that is incomparable to any other good feeling. It was inexplicable.

The only way Claire could describe how she felt after her session was “ten times lighter.” Claire felt like she had undergone a physical release of her emotional pain.

When Claire went home to see her husband after her session, he immediately noticed something different about her. He said she looked like she had changed, and he was right.

As Claire was telling her husband about her session, she had a vivid flashback. The flashback was from ten years ago when Claire used to have the same recurring nightmare.

This nightmare would wake Claire up, leaving her terrified in bed, freezing, but also sweating, and she would feel as if some type of presence infiltrated her whole body. Even when she would try to speak, the voice that would come out of her body didn’t sound anything like her. It was the voice of a man.

Claire was always very disturbed by this. She would wake up, turn the lights on and be too afraid to fall back to sleep.

So this thing, this man that the healer said he “made go away,” was it the same man from Claire’s recurring nightmares? Was this flashback linked to the healing session Claire had just gone to?

Two months later, Claire still feels free of emotional weight. Joy has returned to her life, and she has regained pleasure from simply living everyday.

Claire feels truly liberated from whatever used to have a hold on her, she appreciates the small moments of joy laughing with her friends, and spending time with her family.
